"Do you want to go to the Seaside...

... I'm not trying to say that everybody wants to go" (The Kooks - Seaside)...but we actually did want to go!

So a distinguished group of C4.20 survivors composed of Marta, Anna, Luca, Lion and myself, and the two Others ;-) Giulio and Marina spent one week from the 2nd until the 8th of september on the Bella Ciao with its Captain Claudio.

Anna and me arrived a little bit later on Sunday afternoon the 2nd, and found the rest of the group already enjoying the sun on the boat and the beach in Porto Massimo.

Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to sail for the first 3 days (too much wind - me jode un huevo), so we passed the time having a couple of lessons in tying knots, sailing theory and meteorology by our Captain/Professor Claudio. I also should mention that we drank and smoked a lot... especially while we were lying in the sun, doing nothing or playing cards.

The 2nd evening we decided to have dinner in the small city of Madalena. We visited a bar before to have aperitivo and then had a tasteful dinner in a fish restaurant. The small streets and charming houses of the city gave this night a wonderful environment while getting drunk.

Finally we could leave the harbor on the 3rd day and sailed to a very nice bay with a secluded beach. There we spent a very relaxing day on the boat and on the beach which we could reach with a our little rubber boat.

The highlight of this day was for sure the astonishing sunset, and of course the fact that Luca and me beat Lion and Giulio in a round of Scopa with 14:1. That's all you need to know... :-)

The following day was a very sad day... we went to France :-( Korsica specifically. Nevertheless it was splendid since we found yet another wonderful bay in which we spent part of the afternoon swimming, diving, relaxing, eating, drinking, smoking, and of course, missing the rest of C4.20...

I should not forget the fact that Lion surprised us all by tying our boat single-handedly to a near cliff. Grande Lion!!

Furthermore it needs to be mentioned that after throwing Luca into the water, including his cellphone, digital camera, I-Pod, papers, cigarettes, wallet and hash, I also kicked his ass in arm-wrestling. Grande Fefi!! :-)

Captain Marta steered us into the near harbor of Bonifacio where we spent the following night. The city was very charming (yes Marjo, charming), and we had a drunk night in which I managed to beat Lion at an Italian Tantra-pronunciation-battle. Again, Grande Fefi!! :-)

Unfortunately the trip was coming to an end, and the following night would be our last on the boat. We sailed back to Sardinia, and to keep the the people entertained, Lion decided to start water attacks... but see yourself...

We found an abandonded harbor where we could spend the night. Of course, it was time again to take a swim and have some fun.

All attempts to fish (with rotten meat, half-eaten-and-chewed bread vomit, korean werms, ...) were in vain, and so Giulio decided to at least catch the fishing-silk that he had thrown into the water before. Grande Giulio!! :-)

We had a nice dinner, prepared completely by myself with very little help from my lovely assistant Marina (or was it the other way around, I don't remember...), and enjoyed the last night on the boat drinking, smoking, watching falling stars and, of course, playing Scopa, where Luca and me once again absolutely kicked Lion's and Giulio's asses! Sorry guys, we are just better! :-)

The following morning it was time to say goodbye. I couldn't imagine having a better trip, unless of course the rest of C4.20 would also have been there!

Cheers again to everyone for the great company and wonderful time. Grande Anna, Marina, Luca, Lion, Giulio and Claudio! And, of course, my little mermaid, Marta:

So, when is the next trip? I can't wait :-)

Take care,
Fefinho
